我们特此通知你，DigitalOcean 正在逐步退出 GitHub 学生开发者包项目，通过该计划提供的所有赠金将于 2026 年 7 月 31 日 到期。

- 决定要保留什么。 如果你想继续使用 DigitalOcean，只需确保绑定了有效的支付方式即可，无需其他操作。如果决定不用了，请在 7 月 31 日前关闭你不打算保留的付费资源（项目），以免之后被收费。关闭项目的操作说明可参考这里。操作前请先备份好需要保留的数据，删除项目会清除其数据。

We’re writing to let you know that DigitalOcean is winding down participation in the GitHub Student Developer Pack, and all credits provided through the pack will expire on July 31, 2026.

We wanted you to hear this update from us, in addition to notifications from GitHub, so you have time to plan.

What this means for you:

Your credits remain active and usable on eligible DigitalOcean services through July 31, 2026. More information about DigitalOcean promotional credit and discount terms are available here.

After July 31, any unused credit balance expires and can not be carried over or transferred.

After July 31, your account continues on standard billing. If you keep projects with paid resources running, the usage will be billed to your payment method on file.

What you may want to do before July 31:

Check your balance and usage. Log in to review the credits you have and what resources are currently running on your account.

Decide what to keep. If you want to continue with DigitalOcean, no action is needed beyond maintaining a valid payment method on file. If you decide otherwise, shut down any paid resources (projects) you don’t plan to keep before July 31 to prevent being billed for them thereafter. For convenience, see instructions here on shutting down a project. Back up anything you need first, as deleting a project will remove its data.
