I am requesting a reconsideration for a Full Refund instead of a pro-rated one, based on the principle of Product Defect and Involuntary Service Disruption.
The partial refund issued is unfair because the service interruption was entirely caused by a sudden, mandatory policy change from the developer (OpenAI's secondary phone verification), which completely locked me out of the service. I did not voluntarily cancel or stop using the subscription; rather, the product became fundamentally defective and completely unusable through no fault of my own.
Under Apple's consumer protection principles, if a digital product fails to function as advertised due to major technical blocks imposed by the developer, the consumer should not bear the cost of a defective service. A pro-rated deduction implies I enjoyed a functional service, which is not the case here as the core utility was abruptly and permanently severed.
Therefore, I kindly request you to overturn the decision and grant a full refund. Thank you for your review.
