  1. We are writing to inform you that your personal data has been excluded from model training.




  2. Please note that Sumsub provides identity verification services on behalf of the platforms where you complete verification.




In this context, Sumsub acts as a Data Processor on behalf of and under the instructions of the Data Controller (the platform where you were verified). As a processor, we can only perform actions directed by the Data Controller.


We have contacted the Data Controller and passed on your data deletion request.


However, you can contact them directly via [email protected].


Please be informed that some platforms can be obliged to store the customer's data for a period of at least 5 years in accordance with the provisions of the laws on AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering and Combat to Terrorist Financing). In some jurisdictions, there may be more. Therefore, the right of data erasure, which may be provided by data protection legislation, cannot be exercised before the expiration of this term.


However, as we mentioned above, the final decision about the data deletion is on the Data Controller's side.

Regarding your previous response (attached below for your reference), your assertion that Sumsub acts purely as a Data Processor in this specific context is factually and legally incorrect under the GDPR.
    
I am being systematically blocked across multiple entirely unrelated platforms that use your service (including Ether.fi, Bybit EU, and Plasma One). If you were acting strictly as a Data Processor for a single Data Controller, you would not be utilizing data gathered from one platform to block my access on another.
    
By cross-referencing my biometric hash or passport MRZ across different clients for your internal global risk or fraud network, Sumsub has effectively become an independent Data Controller for this specific shared risk database.
    
Therefore, I am exercising my rights under GDPR Article 15 (Right of Access) and Article 17 (Right to Erasure):
    
I demand the immediate erasure of my global biometric hash, passport data, and all associated "fraud/risk labels" from your cross-client risk databases.
    
If you refuse, under Article 15, I demand you disclose the exact identity of the specific Data Controller who initially instructed you to apply this global restriction on my identity.
    
If this cross-platform restriction is not lifted and my data is not cleared from your shared models within 7 days, I will submit this exact correspondence to the UK ICO to investigate Sumsub's unlawful cross-platform data processing practices.

    通过将我的生物识别哈希值或护照MRZ在不同客户端之间进行交叉比对，用于贵公司内部的全球风险或欺诈网络，Sumsub实际上已经成为该特定共享风险数据库的独立数据控制者。
