刚把 Vodafone 的 SIM 卡激活完，趁着还没忘，简单记录一下 WebID 视频验证的过程，给后面要办的人参考。

我前前后后其实连线了好几次，有德国大妈，也有印度小哥。尤其印度小哥那一口咖喱味儿英语，我是真的听不明白，加上开了梯子网络不太稳定，最后都没弄成。

最后运气就比较好，接到的是一个英语比较正宗的小哥，发音清晰，语速也不算快。其实不用翻译软件，大部分也能听明白。不过为了保险，还是开着谷歌翻译的实时 AI 翻译，有没听清的地方，看一眼字幕基本就知道他在说啥了。

整个验证没有想象中那么复杂，基本就是先问几个问题，再拍护照，最后拍本人。

过程

Can you see me? Can you hear me?

就是问能不能看到他、能不能听到他说话，直接回答 Yes 就行。

然后他告诉我这次通话会录音录像，还会对我本人和身份证件截图，问我是否同意整个身份验证过程。我也是回答 Yes。

接下来就是核对信息，他问了我的姓名、出生日期、为什么联系他们、邮箱地址，还有没有一个正在使用的手机号码。

问我为什么联系时，我的回答是：

I want to activate my Vodafone SIM card.

就是“我想激活 Vodafone SIM 卡”。

邮箱这里我还卡了一下。我第一次说了另一个邮箱，对方马上说系统里显示的不是这个。后来我想起来申请时用的是另一个邮箱，就一个字母一个字母地念给他听，核对上了就继续了。所以大家最好提前确认一下自己申请时到底填的哪个邮箱，免得到时候脑子一片空白。

他还让我提供一个正在使用的手机号。我报的是中国手机号，对方一开始把 199 听成了国家区号，我就告诉他：

It is a Chinese phone number. Plus eight six.

也就是这是中国号码，国家代码是 +86。然后再把手机号一位一位念出来就可以了。

信息核对完以后，就开始拍护照。

他先让我把护照打开，展示有照片和个人信息的那一页。接下来会让你把护照往上拿一点、拿远一点，或者左右调整。这里不一定非要把他说的每个词都听明白，看他的手势跟着动就行。

位置合适以后，他让我把护照上下倾斜、左右倾斜，应该是在看护照的防伪反光。之后又让我用手在护照前面挥一下，还让我翻回前面，展示护照最开始的两页。

护照拍完，就让我把护照放到一边，正脸看着摄像头活体检测，外头扭脸之类的。

最后一个问题是让我念护照号码，慢慢念就行。

全部弄完以后，他让我等了一会儿，然后告诉我已经激活成功，视频就结束了。

简单总结一下，其实全过程就是：

1. 同意录音录像和身份验证；


2. 回答姓名、出生日期、邮箱和联系电话；


3. 说明自己是来激活 Vodafone SIM 卡的；


4. 展示护照，按照要求上下左右转动；


5. 正脸看摄像头，转头、挥手做活体检测；


6. 念出护照号码，等对方确认激活。


7. 使用梯子的话我发现视频会莫名其妙地中断


8. 如果根本听不清楚就果断挂掉再换一个重试；


9. 备好实时翻译的软件；
